MESSED UP ON POST!
WELL, LET ME REWRITE THAT...THE KIDS WERE IN FOR A BRIEF VISIT THIS WEEKEND TO SURPRISE THEIR STEPMOM WITH A 40TH BIRTHDAY PARTY....(I THINK YOU CAN READ THE REST OKAY...:))
Short Visit!
The kids were in for a very brief visit this weekend. They surprised their stepmom's with a 40th brithday party. Cara worked on the cake all day today and Crystal and Tyler were out running errands. Guess what Grammy did all day!?!? Papa took off as soon as he could to join in on that fun, too!!! It wasn't much but, we'll gladly take what we can!!!
CONGRATULATIONS, KELLIE!!! WE ARE SO HAPPY FOR YOU!

Trip to Baton Rouge
We had a nice trip last week visiting Crystal, Tyler and Whitaker!!! Enjoy the pictures!
Hasn't taken a step by himself yet, but with the walker he's UNSTOPPABLE!!!

Well... The Lady Bears lost their game last night to Arnett, so they are out of the running in the play-offs. They will still have one more game to play in the loser's bracket though. I have missed more of Kellie's games than Nicole's, so I went with Kellie yesterday, and missed Nicole. I REALLY hope someone got pics of it, but Nicole made the final shot of the game - - from the floor - - sitting on her butt, flat on the floor!! It was a buzzer beater, AND I MISSED IT!!!!!!
Kellie's AAU team played in the tournament at Ft. Elliott High School in Briscoe, TX yesterday, and took 3rd place. They beat Canadian - - TWICE!! Yeeessssss!! They played five games all together. It was a long day!! Their first game started at 10:15 am yesterday, and it was 10:58 pm when we got home last night. I had a bad case of "Bleacher Butt", but we had a good time.
2 of Jeannette's grandkids were there playing for Shamrock, so Brian and Chelle were there. I had a short visit with them, and then got to see their kids play too. They said to tell all of you Hi!
Thought I'd get to come home this weekend, but with all these games, and Nicole had to work today at 5:30 am, we just didn't make it. Hope to see you all soon though.
